Description

Sacha Inchi or Inca Peanut has been part of the Peruvian food chain for centuries. Rediscovered recently, Sacha Inchi is an excellent source of polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA) and protein. The vine produces a star like fruit which holds seeds from which the oil is extracted. Sancha Inchi starts fruiting after eight months of being planted and then fruits continuously for up to 10 years, which helps minimize the overuse of land and provides a long term source of income to farmers. Combine with Purple Corn and Cats claw for a superb health effect.
